THE CIRCUS had really come to town when it visited a Hampshire shopping centre to help raise money for a local school.
Happy's Circus visited Meadowside Leisure Centre in Whiteley to put on a spectacular two-hour show to a sell-out crowd to raise money for Whiteley Primary School. Nickie Smith, of the Friends of Whiteley Primary, who helped to organised the event, said: "It was absolutely fantastic. It was a circus in its fullest form. There were clowns, acrobats, trapeze artists and a big top and we have raised around £1,000 for the school.
"We want to say a big thank you to Whiteley Village Shopping Outlet and Meadowside Leisure for allowing us to use their space. The circus was brilliant and we will definitely be using them again."
