READY Steady Cook star Lesley Waters tested herself on a climbing wall as she helped a New Forest activity centre to celebrate a National Lottery Day.
The TV chef attended the family day out at the Tile Barn Outdoor Centre near Brockenhurst to focus on active lifestyles.
The centre, which caters largely for schools, opened its doors to the public to show how it had used a £102,000 lottery grant to extend its accommodation to 38 beds. The action-packed event included activities and games, educational workshops around the environment, Forest walks with rangers and sports activities.
It featured world champion sailors Simon Hiscocks and Chris Draper and culminated in team activities for families, with prizes.
Centre director Enda Ryan said: "It's nice to show how we used the money which has extended our season to all year round and give people a taster of what we offer."
Tile Barn is a 14-acre facility for young people to experience and enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment.
