Sheena Marie Ortiz, who stars as Dora in Dora's Pirate Adventure at The Mayflower this half-term, went along to Freemantle CofE School as a thank you to children who have been working hard all term to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Sheena told youngsters she is busy touring the country with the live show, which sees Dora, Diego, and their friends set out across the seven seas, over the singing bridge, through rainforests and to Treasure Island in order to retrieve the party supplies stolen by the Pirate Pigs.

Along the way, they sing lots of catchy songs, solve problems, and avoid the sneaky fox Swiper with the help of their new friends in the audience.

Dora The Explorer is a pre-school and early school years TV favourite which airs on Nickelodeon Junior.
