POLICE are trying to establish whether a body found in woods is that of a missing Hampshire man.
Roy Davage, 43, went missing from his Southampton home Last Tuesday having left a note for his mum saying he was going out for a walk.
His car was later found at Rhinefield locked and secure.
Police have confirmed that a body has been recovered from woods near Lyndhurst after being found by a passer-by on Saturday.
Investigations are now underway to establish whether the body is that of Mr Davage, who was on medication for depression when he disappeared from his home in Millbrook.
