AS the sun popped out for one last time before disappearing for the winter, people from all over the county gathered at the Hampshire Rose Bowl for the third annual Rose Bowl Run.
Hundreds turned out for the run, this year in aid of the Wessex Cancer Trust.
The two-mile family fun run kicked off at 9.30am with around 60 mums, dads and kids all running together.
And a fun run wouldn't be complete without the obligatory fancy dress costumes - including one of the Queen's guard, a Mexican and one three-year-old boy dressed as a spider.
Over 200 aspiring long distance runners lined up at 11am for a five-mile blast through the grounds of the Rose Bowl and nearby Telegraph Woods.
The event was a great success, raising hundreds of pounds for Wessex Cancer Trust.
