Two men to stand trial for alleged armed burglary
TWO men are to stand trial accused of carrying out an armed burglary at the home of a mum and her young baby.
The break-in happened on February 22 in Testwood Lane, Totton, when two men burst into a home, armed with what the victim believed to be a gun.
Jamie Dalton and Matthew Harfield appeared before Southampton Crown Court to deny charges or aggravated burglary and carrying an imitation firearm with intent to cause violence.
Harfield, of no fixed abode, appeared live in the court while Dalton, of Kingsdown Way, Southampton, appeared via video link from prison. They were remanded in custody and will stand trial on August 6.
