BARKING dogs are thought to have scared off burglars after they broke into a house in Chandler’s Ford.
Burglars forced the rear door of a bungalow in Common Road on October 4 and entered the kitchen. It is believed they opened a garage door, but took nothing.
A neighbour alerted police after he found the absent householder’s dogs running in the garden. Police believe the burglars may have been frightened away by the animals but are appealing for information. Contact Detective Constable Tim Judd at Eastleigh CID on 101.
