A DETERMINED bike thief stole a bike from outside a Hampshire country rail station.
The man (pictured) on the train took the locked pedal bike on Monday May 1 at 1pm from the racks outside Shawford station near Winchester.
PC 3145 Neil Nancarrow said: "The bike was properly secured, and the owner has provided the serial number.
"Can I remind everyone please, to keep their bikes secured and write down the serial number and log it with www.immobilise.com. I appreciate this will not stop the determined thief, but it makes, identifying your bike against another of the same make a lot easier if recover it at a later date, and can prove a person is on a stolen pedal cycle."
