THE following cases were recently heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

Marcus Harvey, 24, of Tenterton Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order by sending a letter to arrange child contact. Fined £200. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Davinder Kaur, 35, of Steuart Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging a door handle belonging to Piara Kooner. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Aaron New, 41, of Oxford Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order by sending Facebook messages to victim. Community order and restraining order to protect victim made. Fined £15. Ordered to pay £85 costs.

Scott Whyte, 31, of Queens Road, Shirley. Pleaded guilty to sending messages intending to cause distress or anxiety. Community order and restraining order made. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order for which he was fined £50.

Luke Henning, 36, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody and resisting an officer. Sentenced to prison for 14 days. Ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Kabir Kalley, 34, of Pantheon Road, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Disqualified from driving for 17 months. Fined £346. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £34 victim surcharge.

Imogen Osborne-Lax, 24, of Somerville Road, Ringwood. Pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Fined £173. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Michael Sims, 48, of Birchglade, Calmore. Pleaded guilty to being in possession of cocaine. Fined £462. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £46 victim surcharge.

Gaven Vythelingum, 34, of Waterloo Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Disqualified from driving for 17 months. Fined £312. Ordered to pay £40 costs and £31 victim surcharge.

Deborah Courtney, 59, of The Rise, Brockenhurst. Pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fined £300. Ordered to pay £500 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Natasha Anne Chamberlain, 35, of Oxford Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to thee counts of stealing alcohol valued at £263 from John Lewis. Given a one-year conditional discharge, plus a compensation order.

Paul Mark May, 51, of Kingsdown Way, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Banned from driving for two years, fined £120 with £85 costs and £30 victim services surcharge.

Mamadu Silla, 18, of Northumberland Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order with requirement to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work, told to pay £75 compensation, £85 victim services surcharge and £45 costs.

Trey Ruud Keith Childs, 21, of Sullivan Road, Southampton. Failed to comply with community requirement of suspended sentence imposed in August 2017. Told to pay £60 costs and carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
