SHOCKING dashcam footage shows a man speeding down the M27 at more than 100mph.

John Seymour led police on an "extremely dangerous" chase weaving in and out of traffic.

He was only stopped when a patrol car rammed the back of his red Mini causing him to spin out and crash into a road sign at the Hedge End roundabout.

Video filmed from inside one of the patrol cars shows parts of the 30-minute chase in May.

Seymour, 34, of Manor Way, Lee-on-the-Solent, was charged with dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen- to which he pleaded guilty.

He was jailed at Southampton Crown Court for 14 months and 8 weeks.
