FAILING to attend an appointment has landed a Winchester man in prison.
Benjamin David Murrell was supposed to engage with probation staff as part of a community order.
Murrell, 25, of Queens Mead, Stanmore, admitted the breach by not keeping an office appointment on February 6.
A suspended sentence of 28 days in prison suspended for 12 months was activated with magistrates jailing Murrell for 20 days.
