AN OPEN day bringing together some of the area's most promising medical researchers will take place in Southampton.
The day, organised by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), will take place Holiday Inn Southampton, Herbert Walker Avenue, on Tuesday, June 12.
It will involve a free all-day masterclass, on how medical researchers can apply for funding as part of the NIHR Fellowship Programme.
NIHR Fellowships are research training awards to support outstanding individuals to become the health research leaders of the future.
The day is open to any researcher, clinician or academic from across the south central region.
It is primarily designed for those applying to the Doctoral and Post-Doctoral levels, but those applying to other levels are also welcome to attend.
