PLANS to change a dwelling home in Portswood to a HMO have been refused.
The house at 3 Shakespeare Avenue could have been a house with multiple occupation, consisting of six bedrooms.
However, Southampton City Council rejected the proposal stating the development could be "harmful to character and amenity" of the area.
