Islanders have been posting pictures of a huge shape in the sky over the Island's north coast this morning (Wednesday).
In Ryde, Wayne Whittle speculated that it might be an 'orb', while an eagle-eyed Cowes resident said it looked like a ginormous hand grenade.
The most likely explanation appears to be a hot air balloon.
Watch it over East Cowes and Wootton, at around 8am...
The team behind the giant grenade, operated by Bloon, an inflatable and aerial marketing agency, started at Lee on Solent in Hampshire this morning and flew over at around 2,500ft.
They have since landed near Medham, near Cowes.
They have previously been at Robin Hill's Sky High balloon event and hope to return in May.
The 100ft inflatable is a replica of the logo for sports nutrition brand Sports Nutrition Brand Grenade, pictured (below) by Graham Bloomfield, for The Press in York, among the places where it has also been spotted!
