A 23-year-old man has been arrested after a car crashed into traffic lights on Bassett Avenue.
Police were called today to the scene just before 10.30am following reports of the incident.
Officers arrested the man from Southampton after he tested positive for cocaine.
He remains in custody at this time.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We were called just before 10.30am today, 3 March, to reports of a single vehicle collision on Bassett Avenue, Southampton after a vehicle hit traffic lights.
"The driver, a 23-year-old man from Southampton, was arrested and remains in custody at this time.
