EASTLEIGH BID has launched a campaign to crackdown on bike thefts across the borough.
The non-profit organisation has received reports of a "huge number" of bikes being stolen over the last few weeks.
To keep bikes sage it is urging cyclists to leave their bikes in areas with CCTV.
BID advise that high-value bikes are often and targeted in, so always be one step ahead and be aware of any suspicious activity.
Eastleigh BID is selling D-locks to decrease the amount of bike thefts.
Members of its team will be assisting bike owners to register with Immobilise, a national database to register personal belongings, as well as offering advice on how to keep bikes safer.
BID will in the town centre, offering support and advice drop in sessions.
