A DONKEY was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in mud at a Hampshire farm.
Crews from Lyndhurst and Lymington fire stations went to Linnies Lane in Sway yesterday after the 20-year-old animal sank up to its belly.
Firefighters removed clay and mud from around the donkey’s legs before sliding the animal out of the quagmire.
