A RETIRED schoolteacher from the New Forest has remembered five charities in her will.
Margaret Katherine Locke, of Blackfield, left more than £120,000 to Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust cancer charitable fund for the provision of diagnostic materials and equipment.
Ms Locke also remembered Cancer Research UK, the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, The Stroke Association and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children by leaving £5,000 to each.
Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust runs Southampton General Hospital and the Princess Anne Hospital. It provides hospital services to half a million people living in Southampton and south-west Hampshire and specialist services including neurosciences, cardiac care and children's services to more than three million people.
