AN INNOVATIVE shop that gives students a chance to showcase and sell their fashion, art and music has won national recognition.
The collaborative project between The Marlands shopping centre and Solent University called Re:So, led to the opening of a full-time, student-run store for the first time in a UK shopping centre.
The bespoke boutique in The Marlands has been awarded a BCSC Purple Apple Marketing Merit award for Community Relations at a ceremony hosted by TV presenter, Claudia Winkleman. “We are thrilled to receive such a prestigious industry award,” said Lisa Mann, programme leader for fashion management and promotion at Solent University.
