AN OCEAN village hotel is installing a new fire escape.
Bosses at the Southampton Harbour Hotel were granted to permission to extend its existing apartment on the fifth floor to facilitate the safety measure on its roof terrace.
The application was given the go-ahead by planning officials at Southampton City Council on Monday, June 25.
