AN OPEN discussion for artists in the city will be held this week. The event at 'a space arts' is a chance for creatives to have their say on how they would like Southampton's arts scene to develop.
It will be hosted by new development officer Alys Scott-Hawkins - who as reported has been employed by 'a space' to help artists further their careers.
The event takes place in Arch 04 at Arches Studios underneath Central Bridge, on September 18 from 6-8pm.
A space were recently awarded National Portfolio Status by Arts Council England, meaning they have guaranteed funding for the next four years. As reported they are currently refurbishing ancient Town Quay building God's House Tower with grants of £1.7million.
Tuesday's event is free and there will be refreshments.
