WHEN Eve Ritchie-Fallon took over at the Forest Education Centre in 2001, the school was in trouble.
In 2003 Ofsted inspectors described it as failing and placed the school for problem pupils in special measures.
Two years later inspectors praised Mrs Ritchie- Fallon’s “hard work” and said leadership and management had “improved significantly”. The school, in Cabot Drive, improved again in 2007 with Ofsted inspectors rating it “good with outstanding features”.
It read: “The head of centre’s leadership and management are outstanding.
She has skilfully guided the centre from a very low base some four years ago.”
Since Mrs Ritchie- Fallon’s suspension standards have slipped with only a “satisfactory” rating for an interim review last month.
