HUNDREDS of litres of diesel gushed over a major Southampton road after a fuel tank ruptured last night.
Around 250 litres of fuel spewed across West End Road sparking an emergency incident on Saturday.

The road was closed from around 6.30pm with firefighters and police on the scene near Tesco Esso Express.
Six fire engines were involved in the operation as well as teams from the environmental agency.

According to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, no one was injured, and crews were called to make the area safe.
The incident was later handed over to a specialist cleaning company and West End Road has since reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.24pm on Saturday, June 12 to a report that a petrol tanker was leaking fuel on West End Road, Southampton.
"Officers attended to assist with traffic control while the incident was dealt with.
"West End Road was closed in both directions while the vehicle was recovered and the road was cleared.
"The incident is being treated as an accident."
