A DEMENTIA toolkit has been launched to help those worried about talking to the thousands of people in Hampshire living with the disease.
Bupa's Talking Toolkit aims to help friends and loves one communicate better with the 18,500 people in the county who are currently battling with dementia.
It has been developed in response to recent research which revealed that nearly a third of people in the south east are apprehensive about talking to people with dementia.
The toolkit contains guidance and practical tips from experts that hope to help people engage and connect with those living with the disease and aims to raise awareness of the symptoms.
