Four people have been charged after police seized more than £57,000 worth of Class A drugs.
Detectives from Edinburgh’s Proactive CID Unit found the drugs while carrying out intelligence led searches of a property in Restalrig Crescent, Edinburgh on September 17.
They seized £50,000 worth of heroin and £7,800 worth of crack cocaine from the residential address along with a three-figure sum of cash.
Police said a 28-year-old man and three woman aged 19, 41, 51 have been charged in connection with the offences and were due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Detective Inspector Kevin Harkins said: “Thanks to vital intelligence received from the public, a significant quantity of Class A drugs have been seized before they could cause harm within the local communities.”
