Etihad has confirmed it will resume a "limited commercial flight schedule" from Friday (March 6), operating between Abu Dhabi and 71 "key" destinations worldwide.
The US-Israeli war with Iran has entered its seventh day.
According to reports, the war has (so far) resulted in the death of more than 1,230 people in Iran, around 100 in Lebanon, a dozen in Israel, and six US troops.
More than 140,000 Brits have registered their presence in the Middle East with the Foreign Office, as flight operations in the area remain temporarily suspended.
Airspace over 10 countries in the Middle East remains closed (or partially closed), according to Flightradar24, while more than 20 major airlines have been forced to cancel hundreds of flights.
Despite this, more than 4,000 Brits have managed to secure commercial flights back to the UK this week.
The first Government-chartered plane evacuating British nationals from the region also touched down in the UK at 1am on Friday (March 6).

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Etihad said: "Etihad will resume a limited commercial flight schedule from 6 March 2026, operating between Abu Dhabi and a number of key destinations.
"Guests with previous bookings will be accommodated on these flights as soon as possible. Tickets are also available for sale on http://etihad.com .
"Guests and members of the public should not travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad or hold a confirmed booking on one of these new flights.
"The decision has been taken in coordination with relevant authorities following extensive safety and security assessments.
"Etihad continues to monitor the situation closely and will only operate flights once all safety criteria are met.
"Additional destinations will be added and communicated as conditions permit.
"Safety remains our absolute priority, and services will operate only once all safety criteria are met."

All other scheduled commercial services to and from Abu Dhabi with Etihad remain suspended, the airline added.
Etihad continued: "Affected guests will receive direct communication from Etihad confirming the status of their flight and outlining available options."
Passengers are urged to check their flight status on the Etihad website before travelling to the airport, and make sure all contact details are up to date on their booking.

Are refunds available?
Customers with Etihad tickets issued on or before February 28, with travel dates up to March 21, can re-book onto Etihad-operated flights up to May 15.
Guests on all Etihad flights up until 21 March may also request a refund.
