THE identity of a cyclist who died in a crash has been revealed.
David Davenport was cycling along Woodman Lane in Sparsholt when he was involved in a crash with a blue Mini Cooper.
The 59-year-old of Archers Road, Eastleigh, was rushed to hospital following the collision at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 8.
However, he died of his injuries more than a week later on June 16.
Police have now launched a witness appeal to help with their investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "If you saw what happened please call us on 101 or report online quoting reference number 44210223675.
"Alternatively, you can phone Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111."
