Kenwyne Jones and Bradley Wright-Phillips will get another chance to prove they should be Saints' first choice strike pairing.

After a goal each in their first league start together against Wolves on Wednesday, Saints boss George Burley looks set to stick with the pairing whether top scorer Grzegorz Rasiak is fit or not for the visit of lowly Hull tomorrow.

The Polish striker, who has scored eight times in the league this season, is still a doubt with the rib injury that kept him out in midweek.

It's another chance for Jones and Wright-Phillips to show what they can do.

Burley said: "Kenwyne has been involved with most of the games this season. Bradley had a run where he maybe started the season very well and his form then dipped.

"He's worked hard in training at areas to get him back to his full potential and we saw that against Wolves.

"But every game's different. They performed very well on Wednesday and there will be an opportunity tomorrow to show it again.

"They looked a good combination. They complimented each other.

"They've both got pace, Kenwyne is excellent in the air and Bradley is a smaller striker.

They are both very good players and you're going to have periods where one is off a little bit of form - that's natural.

"We're still not halfway through the season and both are playing their part."

While Rasiak is a doubt, there is better news on Jhon Viafara who will be available for the game after missing the Wolves victory with a virus.

However, Gareth Bale has a tight hamstring and Nathan Dyer took a kick on his calf and both will face late tests to see if they can play.

If Dyer is ruled out, Viafara could play on the right of midfield with Jermaine Wright continuing in the centre alongside Inigo Idiakez.

If Bale is ruled out, Chris Makin could switch to left-back with Wright at right-back and Mario Licka starting in midfield.

Burley is just hoping that whatever team he puts out will make it back-to-back wins.

"You're looking for consistency and Hull had a very good win at Southend, they've changed their style of play and they'll be difficult to play against," he said.

"We've got to keep working hard to try and get the consistency.

"The fans have been absolutely tremendous over a difficult couple of weeks with all those away games where we didn't get anything.

"But the team showed against Wolves they haven't given up.

"We've got a great opportunity to finish in the top six and that's what we've got to aim for."
