FORMER Saints striker David Connolly scored his first Portsmouth goal last night.
The ex-Republic of Ireland international thrust Pompey ahead after 22 minutes in the home League 1 encounter against MK Dons.
But Shaun Williams equalised five minutes later, and Pompey were unable to find another goal.
The draw leaves them technically 13 points adrift of third tier safety, and fifth bottom Oldham have two games in hand.
Portsmouth, whose last league win was against Shrewsbury on October 20, have now gone 22 league matches without a win.
That is only three games away from equalling the club record set back in 1958/59.
