James Ward-Prowse has been named in the final squad for England under-20’s World Cup campaign in Turkey.

The Saints midfielder made the cut as manager Peter Taylor trimmed his provisional list of 35 players down to 21 in preparation for the tournament.

Ward-Prowse will meet up with his fellow squad members at St George’s Park next Monday before flying out to Turkey on Wednesday, June 12.

England will be based in Antalya as they play their first two group games against Iraq on June 23 and Chile on June 26 before moving on to Bursa for their final group game against Egypt on June 29.
