Argentina defender Federico Fernandez stands by to make his first Barclays Premier League start for Swansea following his £8million move from Napoli last month.
Fernandez came on at half-time in the 4-2 defeat at Chelsea last weekend after Jordi Amat damaged knee ligaments and should slot into central defence alongside skipper Ashley Williams against Saints at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow..
Amat has been ruled out for six weeks and the only other change from the Chelsea defeat could see the return of Wilfried Bony for Bafetimbi Gomis. The Ivorian dropped to the bench at Stamford Bridge following his late return from African Nations Cup duty.
Provisional squad: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Ki, Shelvey, Routledge, Dyer, Sigurdsson, Bony, Tremmel, Tiendalli, Gomis, Carroll, Emnes, Montero, Bartley, Richards, Fulton, King, Kingsley.
