Mark Clattenburg makes his first appearance at St Mary’s tomorrow since his high profile clash with Adam Lallana last December.
Lallana was one of four Saints players booked by Clattenburg during the 2-1 loss at Everton – Jack Cork, Rickie Lambert and Gaston Ramirez also cautioned.
A few days later it emerged that Saints had reported Clattenburg for alleged dissent towards Lallana, but no action was taken against the official.
Clattenburg only took charge of one more Saints game in 2013/14, though – Saints' 3-1 loss at West Ham in February, where Lallana was again booked.
He also refereed Saints’ opening day loss at Anfield this season, booking both Morgan Schneiderlin and Steven Davis.
Clattenburg was in charge of Manchester United’s shock 5-3 loss at Leicester last weekend, when he sent off United youngster Tyler Blackett.
