Former Southampton defender Matthew Mills has joined Colchester United on a month's loan in the build up to current club Manchester City's FA Cup fourth-round tie against the Saints.
Mills,20, has only played 66 minutes in City's first team since following Steve Wigley to the City of Manchester Stadium last January.
