FORMER Hampshire spinner Rangana Herath took 3-36 from ten overs as Sri Lanka defeated England by six wickets in the fourth One-Day International.
Herath took the wickets of Joe Root, Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes as England posted a below-par 265 all out – James Taylor top scoring with 90.
The total did not quite stretch the hosts, Kumar Sangakkara (86) sharing a stand of 96 with Mahela Jayawardene and Angelo Mathews finishing the job with an unbeaten 51 to keep Sri Lanka always just ahead of the game.
