CHERRIES boss Kevin Bond has registered his interest in bringing Saints striker David McGoldrick to Dean Court.
The 19-year-old, below, has been made available for loan by Saints boss George Burley - as reported in Tuesday's Echo - after dropping down the pecking order at St Mary's.
McGoldrick hit a hat-trick in Saints' Pontins Holidays Combination victory over Cherries in August.
He responded to losing his place in Burley's first-team squad by netting the opener in Saints reserves's 4-0 win at Wycombe on Tuesday.
McGoldrick, who served Notts County on loan last season, worked with Bond when he was Harry Redknapp's assistant at St Mary's.
Bond said: "I've enquired about taking David on loan and the manager has said he will leave it up to him where he wants to go."
