GEORGE Burley has revealed why top scorer Grzegorz Rasiak was dropped to the bench for the first time this season.
The Polish international is the Championship's joint second highest scorer with 19 goals - despite not having netted since the win at QPR on a month ago tomorrow.
But Burley chose to start with the in-form Kenwyne Jones and Marek Saganowski up front against Barnsley.
Burley explained: "Grzegorz has had a lot of games recently.
"He also plays international football and three games in six days (the previous week) was tough on him.
"But Kenwyne is bang in form so we decided to go for Marek and I felt that partnership looked lively."
