IT may not be one of English football's 'glamour ties' but there have been plenty of momentous matches between Southampton and West Bromwich Albion.

The Saints are aiming for only their second win at The Hawthorns since 1984 tomorrow, with that sole victory coming in August 2013.

Goalscorer Rickie Lambert smashed home a last-minute penalty that day but will line-up for The Baggies tomorrow, aiming to notch his first goal for the club since his summer move from Liverpool.

He wouldn't be the only ex-Saint to score against his former club in this fixture, with Kevin Phillips bagging an equaliser for West Brom in a Championship 1-1 draw back in February 2007 two years after leaving the south coast following Saints relegation in 2005.

But more positive memories include Adam Lallana scoring his first ever goal for Saints in a 1-1 draw in April 2008, a vital point in Saints escape from relegation that season.
