Hampshire's bowler injury crisis heightened this morning when off-spin all-rounder Brad Taylor suffered ankle ligament damage in a fall at the Ageas Bowl, where the county are playing a Second XI Championship match against Somerset II.
It is believed the England Under-19 captain slipped on a stairwell and could be side-lined for up to a month.
Hampshire already have long term injuries affecting fast bowlers Fidel Edwards and Reece Topley and medium-paceman Gareth Berg.
