Saints have been drawn against Inter Milan, Sparta Prague and Hapoel Be'er Sheva in Group K of the Europa League.
It means trips to Italy, the Czech Republic and Israel for Saints.
Milan are one of the prize draws of the competition, have won Serie A 18 times as well as three Champions League titles. Their 80,000 capacity San Siro stadium is one of the world's most iconic grounds.
Sparta Prague finished runners-up in the Czech top tier last season, and play near the centre of one of Europe's most popular cities.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva, who were beaten by Celtic in the Champions League qualifcation stages, play in a stadium that has been opened for less than a year, in southern Israel.
The winners of the group and the runners-up will progress to the knockout stages.
The dates for the matches have now been confirmed:
Sept 15: Saints v Sparta Prague (8.05pm)
Sept 29: Hapoel Be'er Sheva v Saints (6pm)
Oct 20: Inter Milan v Saints (6pm)
Nov 3: Saints v Inter Milan (8.05pm)
Nov 24: Sparta Prague v Saints (6pm)
Dec 8: Saints v Hapoel Be'er Sheva (8.05pm)
