Hamble Aquatics are celebrating TWO Hampshire County champions.
Both Lydia Parker and Sophie Hamilton were crowned champions in 4 events between them, narrowly missing out of gaining the triple (50m 100m and 200m) in their retrospective strokes.
Parker was crowned champion in the 100m and 200m butterfly, gaining a very close silver in the 50m.
Hamilton won the 50m and 100m breaststroke, with silver in her 200m.
Hamble were thrilled to see some new faces at the County Championships this year as the club continues to grow.
Amy Hill, George Snow, Georgia Bennetts and Victoria Birkett made their debut appearance.
Others managed to rank higher than they did in last year’s counties.
Archie Smoker, Hannah Osborne, Jess Larby, Joe Doncom and Molly Aspinall all impressed.
Overall, Hamble won four golds, four silvers and two bronze medals.
