Jimmy Adams and Michael Carberry smashed 129 in less than 12 overs as Hampshire went on a 255-run T20 spree against Durham University in Barbados.
They peppered the boundary at the KMV Oval in St Andrew, with Adams hitting four maximums and Carberry three.
Adams made 85 (66 balls) and Carberry 78 (41 balls) in his first T20 game since being diagnosed mwioth cancer last July.
Sean Ervine (28) and Gareth Berg (30) then helped Hampshire to 255-8 off 30 overs.
Off-spinner Brad Taylor was Hampshire’s bowling hero, the former England Under-19 captain taking 6-20 from six overs as Durham collapsed from 46-1 to 115 all out.
New signings Kyle Abbott (5-0-18-1) and Asher Hart (4-0-19-1) took a wicket apiece as did Fidel Edwards (4.2-1-12-1).
