JAMES Ward-Prowse has urged Saints to "keep believing" as they look to turn around their woeful Premier League form at Wembley against Tottenham tomorrow.

Mauricio Pellegrino's men have won just once in ten league games and are sat just three points off the bottom three.

"The mood is lower. Every team goes through a tough period in the season but we have to stick together, keep believing in each other and keep believing in what we’re doing and I’m sure it will change. We just need that little bit of luck," he said.

About the Spurs game, he said: "Obviously it's a high energy game. They play a good, attacking style of football.

"Having played under him (Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino) you know what you’re going to get, so very excited and it’s a good chance to put things right."

Ahead of the Spurs and Manchester United match on Saturday, the midfielder said: "They are tough games and we have to be ready for them and we need to start winning games and these are the games we’ll look to kick-start that with."

On facing Tottenham, centre-back Maya Yoshida said: "Spurs is a really strong team and they understand how they play.

"Mauricio, his football is really quick and high intensity. The strikers are really clinical.

"Again, we need a good defence as we did against Chelsea, City, Arsenal. So hopefully we get more advantage and get more points."
