AFC TOTTON, Salisbury and Winchester City are all without games tomorrow in the Evo-Stik South West.

Totton’s home showdown with Swindon Supermarine and the cathedral city derby between Salisbury and Winchester have succumbed to heavy snow and freezing temperatures.

And they are not the only ones.

A statement issued by Southern League secretary Jason Mills confirmed: “A complete whiteout has occurred, with all our fixtures scheduled tomorrow postponed.”

It's the same story in the Drew Smith Group Southampton Saturday Football League.

Their secretary Rod Sutherland wrote to clubs stating: "In the interests of player safety, we have decided it is in everyone's best interests to call a total blanket whiteout of Saturday's matches.

"If two teams have made special arrangements and wish to discuss further, please let me know asap. But bear in mind travelling is going to be horrendous. We will assume all off."
