GOSPORT Borough have enlisted another experienced striker to boost their Evo-Stik South Premier escape bid.
Following ex-Eastleigh man Craig McAllister into Privett Park is 35-year-old former Portsmouth forward Rowan Vine.
Vine made seven appearances for Borough in 2015 and is expected to make his second debut at home to league leaders Hereford tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7.45pm).
He is well-known to Gosport’s assistant boss Louis Bell, who joined the club recently after parting company with Baffins Milton Rovers.
Bell said: “Rowan will give us another experienced option up front. His presence will hopefully help pick up the morale of some of the youngsters.”
With one to go down, rock-bottom Borough are four points behind Dunstable Town with two games in hand.
