SYDENHAMS Premier Division outfit Bashley are preparing for a change at the top.
The New Forest club need a new chairperson and deputy to replace the current pairing of Laurence Flanagan and Stephen Burrows who are planning to retire from executive duties.
A membership club with FA Charter status, Bashley have senior teams in the Wessex Premier and Wyvern Leagues, support an affiliated Bashley U19 side in the FA Youth Alliance League and an U14 Bashley girls’ side playing locally. A further affiliation regarding an U16 development squad is under discussion.
“The executive team is heading a close-knit community of dedicated people working together for the advancement of Bashley Football Club, the growth and development of local youth football and for the love of the game,” said president/secretary Mike Cranidge.
