TWO more talented young guns have nailed their colours to the AFC Totton mast for the new Southern League West campaign.
Ex-AFC Bournemouth full-back Connor York has penned a contract extension and attacking midfielder Charlie Gunson is staying put for 2018/19.
York, released by the Cherries at the end of 2017/18 following a loan spell with the Stags, said: “I’ve loved every minute of my first full season in senior football with this group of players and it was an easy decision to stay.”
Former England Schools’ international Gunson feels the Totton management team have put “a decent side together.”
He added: “They see me as an important part of the team and I’m looking forward to another successful season with these players.”
