SAINTS goalkeeper Angus Gunn has been called up by England U21s for two forthcoming European Championship qualifiers.

Gunn, who kept a clean sheet on his competitive Saints debut in Tuesday’s 1-0 Carabao Cup win at Brighton, has been included in Aidy Boothroyd’s 23-man squad for a double header against Holland and Latvia.

Group leaders England host second-placed Holland at Norwich City Carrow Road, where Gunn spent last season on loan, on Thursday.

Five days later, they travel to Latvia.

Gunn, a £10m buy from Manchester City in July, has represented England at every youth level, and has won 11 caps for the U21s.

There are first-time call-ups for Derby County loanee Mason Mount and Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Meanwhile, Saints U23 left-back Jake Vokins has been included in England U19s squad for Euro qualifiers against Netherlands and Belgium.
