HARRISON Reed has been named Blackburn Rovers player of the Month for October.
The Saints midfielder has excelled for the Championship club since joining on loan in September.
Reed has scored twice in 12 appearances, which include nine starts in the league.
His stunning long-range equaliser in a 1-1 draw away to West Brom on October 27 helped him secure the prize.
The 23 year-old came out on top with 67 per cent of the vote from Blackburn fans, comfortably ahead of striker Bradley Dack (21 per cent), goalkeeper David Raya (8 per cent) and winger Elliott Bennett (4 per cent).
Delighted 🙌🏼 thank you to everyone that voted 💙 https://t.co/U32iegVdFk

Reed made the last of his 30 Saints appearances in April 2017 and is on loan at Blackburn for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Jake Hesketh, another Saints loanee, continued to impress for Burton Albion on Saturday.
He came off to a standing ovation in the 89th minute after starring in a 1-0 win against Coventry in League One.
