Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in action against Derby during pre-season
Saints face a trip to Derby County in the third round of the FA Cup.
Saints reached the semi-final of the competition last year but were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea after goals from Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.
The game will be played between the weekend of Friday, 4 Januray - Monday, 7 January.
Frank Lampard's side hosted Southampton during pre-season and beat them 3-0 at the Pride Park Stadium.
