CHARLIE Austin has been banned by The FA for two games following his actions in the Manchester City game.
As the Saints striker was walking off the St Mary’s pitch he gestured towards the City fans nestled away in the corner of St Mary’s.
Austin was charged by the governing body and had until last week to respond to their initial decision.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl addressed the media earlier today and admitted he hadn’t heard from The FA and that he would prepare for Saturday’s game with Austin in the team.
The ban means the 29-year-old will miss the trip to Leicester and then the FA Cup replay at home to Derby on Wednesday, 16 January.
